Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Guest" or "you") and SocialGully Homestay ("we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of our website and accommodation services.
By accessing our website, making a booking, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
Booking and Reservations
Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all guests
- Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of required deposit/payment
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion
Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in time: 2:00 PM onwards
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and additional charges
- Valid photo identification required at check-in
- Guest registration as per Uttarakhand Tourism Department requirements
Occupancy Limits
- Maximum occupancy limits must be strictly adhered to
- Additional guests may incur extra charges
- Unauthorized guests are not permitted
Payment Terms
Payment Methods
- We accept cash, UPI, credit cards, and bank transfers
- All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Advance payment may be required to secure booking
- GST will be charged as per Indian tax regulations
Pricing and Taxes
- All rates are subject to applicable taxes and service charges
- Prices may vary based on season, demand, and special events
- We reserve the right to modify rates with prior notice
- Additional services will be charged separately
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Guest
- 48+ hours before check-in: Full refund minus processing fees
- 24-48 hours before check-in: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
- No-show: No refund
Cancellation by Homestay
In rare cases where we must cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will:
- Provide full refund of all payments made
- Assist in finding alternative accommodation when possible
- Provide reasonable notice whenever possible
House Rules and Guest Conduct
General Rules
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the premises
- Consumption of alcohol is not permitted on the property
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Pets are not allowed unless pre-approved
- Visitors must be registered and are not allowed after 9:00 PM
Safety and Security
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings
- Report any damages or issues immediately to management
- Follow all safety instructions and emergency procedures
- Comply with local laws and regulations
Prohibited Activities
- Illegal activities of any kind
- Disturbing other guests or neighbors
- Unauthorized commercial activities
- Tampering with safety equipment or utilities
Liability and Damages
Guest Responsibility
- Guests are liable for any damage to property during their stay
- Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest
- Lost keys or access cards will incur replacement charges
- Excessive cleaning fees may apply for unreasonable mess
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide safe and comfortable accommodation, we are not liable for:
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Injuries due to guest negligence
- Disruptions due to natural disasters or force majeure events
- Third-party services or activities

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with Indian data protection laws.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India and the state of Uttarakhand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
